Who we are
Vietnam Property Market is published by Indochine Real Estate JSC, a Vietnamese company founded in 2022 whose team has worked in Vietnam property since 2014. We write for foreigners who live in Vietnam and for buyers abroad, in English, Korean and Chinese.
Who writes our articles
Every article is signed by the desk that wrote it: the Korean desk, the Chinese & Taiwanese desk or the English desk. The people named in the byline are also the advisors who answer readers in that language, so an article may end with an offer of help from that desk. Each author has a page listing the articles their desk has written.
How we choose news
We write a news article only when an event changes something for a foreign buyer or owner: a decision on interest rates, a move in the exchange rate, a change in the law, in taxes or in supply. Routine daily numbers such as exchange rates, gold prices or savings rates are not written up as articles. When nothing meets that bar, we publish nothing.
Sources
We read Vietnamese, Korean, Chinese and English publishers and official sources such as the State Bank of Vietnam, the Government of Vietnam and the US Federal Reserve. Every news article lists the reports it is based on, with links, and every figure is given with its date and source. We do not present another publisher's figure as our own or as verified, and we do not use competing agencies or listing portals as sources. Statements on foreign ownership follow the Housing Law 2023 (Law 27/2023/QH15) and Decree 95/2024/ND-CP.
How we use AI
We use AI tools to monitor news feeds, group headlines into stories, collect figures and draft articles. When an article is drafted with AI, software keeps a figure only if the quoted sentence and the number appear on the source page it came from, and a second AI model reviews the draft. An editor chooses every news story that is written: once chosen, the article is published when these checks pass, and waits for the editor when one fails. Other articles are published only after an editor approves the text.
What we do not do
We do not forecast prices, interest rates or exchange rates: we report what happened and what it changes for a buyer. Our articles are general information, not legal, tax or investment advice. Check your own case with a qualified professional before you act.
